Project turnkey frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Our customers utilizing Tesko's laser cutting, and architectural
and ornamental metal fabricating services frequently ask similar
questions. The following project turnkey capability FAQs cover
many of the typical questions we are asked by our OEM customers
and anyone desiring high quality laser cutting and metal fabricating
services.
Can you handle non-laser-cutting services required to finish
my project such as forming, welding, machining, polishing, painting
or whatever else my project calls for?
Tesko Laser offers a wide range of secondary fabricating, finishing,
and consulting services such as
concept development, design, engineering, etching, prototyping,
cold saw and abrasive cutting, shearing, machining, forming,
rolling for tube, bar, sheet, and structural steel, TIG and
MIG, plus normal welding, and grinding.
Additionally, we have formed alliances with key providers of
other metal fabricating services you may require not performed
in-house, so Tesko Laser handles your project from start to
finish. We can turnkey virtually any laser-cutting or architectural/ornamental
metal fabricating project.

Can you provide project consulting assistance to ensure
the project is done right, better, or less expensively?
Tesko Laser offers materials consulting and part design services.
If your part, as submitted, can be laser cut more efficiently,
saving you money and production time, well let you know
after reviewing your drawings. Well make suggestions on
the design of the part and how to optimize parts nesting to
get a higher yield from your sheet or plate.
Our goal is to provide our customers with the best possible
results for their metal fabricating projects. Before projects
begin, often during our response to your request
for quotations, we provide alternatives, advice, or will
point out why some technical aspects of the project will not
work as initially designed. Your project should be performed
as correctly, and cost-effectively as possible.

How accurate are your lead-time estimates?
Our quotes contain very accurate lead-time estimates. We contact
our metal suppliers, prior to quote response, to ensure our
quotes are as accurate as possible. Customer projects often
must be coordinated with other manufacturing activities and
accurate lead time estimates ensures that your manufacturing
schedules are met and your production proceeds smoothly without
interruption. If delivery estimates must be altered due to project
changes or vendor issues, our communication to you is immediate.
We use of multiple metal vendors to ensure the raw materials
deliveries needed for your project are timely.
