PROTOTYPING

3-step development process

Based on a provided design, Tesko uses a 3-step system to produce prototypes for stand-alone parts, fabrications or assemblies. Most prototypes require multiple manufacturing processes including metal cutting, forming, welding, drilling, deburring and coating.

Step 1: BUILD

When a customer needs to validate the feasibility of a potential design, it is necessary to build one or more functional prototypes so the design can be proved out prior to manufacturing.

Step 2: SIMULATIONS

Developed prototypes are then tested in simulations where they are subjected to laboratory analysis and/or put into use to determine how they will perform.

Step 3: ENHANCEMENTS

If the prototype performance is acceptable, they are typically modified to make enhancements to the initial design.
